Last night at a basketball game there was a female and two men sitting two rows in front of us. As soon as we sat down we could automatically tell that she was already drunk. She was yelling at a woman and her husband in front of us. See she was from the opposing team so you know how that conversation was going.
About ten minutes after we sat down she was joined by her friend who was married to one of the men sitting with her, before she even sat down she began spewing obscenities at the couple as well and then came beer.
The language got worst and one of them even grabbed the couples thunder sticks and ripped them apart…with her teeth! This lasted throughout the entire game and towards the end the husband finally got his cup of liquid courage and decided to act like his wife which resulted in the two men ready to fight. Until this point the men with them were quiet, all they did was supply beer.
There was a point when one female seriously cursed out her guy and he just stood there and took it. (more than once)
I could feel the look of disgust on my face, not for them but or myself. Why? Because I was that female… the one who could rip a hole through your soul with the words I spoke and every other word would be a curse word. You may not have been able to hear everything but you would definitely feel every word I spoke. Now when I hear a woman speak like that it turns my stomach to think I was once that way.
Until one day…
One day I allowed God to come in and clean up my act and change the way I spoke and changed my thought process and let me see how it looked and how the sound of certain words were so ignorant. If you know me you already know how I feel about my appearance and looking ignorant is not in my wardrobe.
Ladies we have to build each other up but more importantly we have to build up the men. We were created to be a helper to man, to build up not tear down, to cherish not trash, to walk beside not in front of and to honor not disrespect men. How dare a woman demand respect when she does not respect herself or the people around her and guys don’t think this is behavior that you have to accept, there are ladies out here who can and will conduct themselves accordingly.
Did you notice that when talking about the females I never called them a ladies!?! They showed no signs of being as such because the true definition of a lady is as follows:
“1. A well-mannered and considerate woman with high standards of proper behavior.”
Ladies act accordingly and guys,
God gave everyone common sense but it’s up to you to activate it!
